Missable Quests in The Blood of Dawnwalker: What Can Be Lost

With a hard 30-day clock, some quests in The Blood of Dawnwalker can be missed. How missable content works and how this wiki tracks it.

What does “missable” mean with a 30-day clock?

In The Blood of Dawnwalker, quest actions advance a fixed clock of 30 days and 30 nights. Official materials confirm you cannot complete every story thread in a single playthrough — so “missable” is not an edge case; it is the default pressure of the game.

A quest can become missable in two ways:

  • Deadline — the clock runs out (or passes a cutoff) before you finish the thread.
  • Lockout — a choice you made elsewhere closes the thread permanently. See Choices & Consequences.

Which quests are missable?

Pre-release information — awaiting verification. No official quest list exists yet, so this wiki names no specific quests as missable today. Tracking starts from the verified release build on September 3, 2026, and every confirmed deadline and lockout will be recorded in the Quest Time Costs database.

How will this wiki track missable content?

For each verified quest, the database records its deadline (if any), whether it is missable, and which choices lock it out. To prepare:

  1. Understand the unit math on How Time Works.
  2. Accept that skipping threads is structural — read The 30-Day Limit.
  3. Plan around your priorities with the 30-Day Planner.
  4. Remember that free exploration costs nothing (Does Exploration Use Time?) — scout first, spend later.
