Vampire Powers in The Blood of Dawnwalker: Overview
Vampiric powers are confirmed for The Blood of Dawnwalker's night-time combat. What is official, and what awaits release-build verification.
Are vampire powers confirmed?
Yes. Official materials confirm that Coen is human by day and vampire by night, and the official gameplay reveal shows directional combat blending swordfighting, spells, and vampiric powers. Vampiric abilities are the night half of the game’s combat identity — see Day vs Night.
Which specific powers exist?
Pre-release information — awaiting verification. No official list of named powers, their costs, or their upgrade paths has been published. Individual power pages are added only after verification in the release build starting September 3, 2026.
What will each power page track?
- Effect — what the power does, verified in-game.
- Availability — when and how it is unlocked.
- Cost and upgrades — resource or progression requirements.
- Synergies — how it combines with human skills, weapons, and builds.
How do powers interact with the time system?
Night is a budget: each night has 8 time units (per Xbox hands-on coverage), and quest actions spend them. Powers that only exist at night compete for that budget — plan around them with the 30-Day Planner.
