What is Vale Sangora?

Vale Sangora is the setting of The Blood of Dawnwalker: a region in the Carpathian Mountains in 14th-century Europe, during the Black Death era. In this world, vampires have seized power — the vampire lord Brencis rules the region, and it is here that Coen fights to save his family.

What kind of world is it?

Official materials describe The Blood of Dawnwalker as an open-world dark fantasy action RPG. Vale Sangora is that open world: the space you cross by day as a human and by night as a vampire — see Day vs Night.

What locations are known?

Pre-release information — awaiting verification. Beyond the region itself, no official map or named sub-locations have been published. This wiki adds location pages — maps, points of interest, and the quests tied to them — only after verification in the release build starting September 3, 2026.

Why does the setting matter for planning?

Because travel sits inside the time system. Free exploration does not consume time units (per Xbox hands-on coverage — see Does Exploration Use Time?), so learning Vale Sangora’s layout costs nothing and pays off when you budget quest routes in the 30-Day Planner.
